Families on the Move Shifts to the Weekend

We are excited to share an important evolution in our Families on the Move (FOTM) program! 

Beginning this session, we’re transitioning from a three-times-per-week afterschool format to a twice-monthly Saturday Skill Builder workshop.

In every other respect, the program will remain the same: scholars ages 6–11 and their families will continue to enjoy hands-on math, reading, and writing support, as well as enriching activities and community resources.

The new format, however, will ensure more families with complicated schedules and transportation limitations are able to participate in the program.

Always Evolving

At Emmaus House, responsive programming means listening closely to our community and adapting what we do to serve you better. 

We know weekday schedules and evening commutes can be tough. By switching to every other Saturday (9:00 am – 12:00 pm), we hope to make the program more convenient for working families. It will also allow us to provide free transportation for participants living in the 30315 zip code.
